Beautifully situated in the north-west of Hanover, this hotel nestles quietly in a fairytale park among beautiful old trees, next door to a 300 year old timber-framed building.
Nowadays, this neighbouring traditional residence is a popular restaurant, pub and day trip destination which serves regional cuisine. Take advantage of the breakfast buffet to start your day and relax with a soothing drink in the stylish 24-hour bar. The hotel is also close to the famous Herrenhäuser Gardens within a tranquil location surrounded by the natural environment of a forest. However the motorway is nearby and it is a short walk to the train station, providing excellent connections with the area.
The spacious, comfortable and contemporary accommodation consists of renovated rooms with a light interior, simple decor and functional furnishings. This hotel has a homely atmosphere and a range of facilities that include a spa and fitness centre.
The hotel was built in 1994. It has been a Mercure Hotel since 1998. All of our rooms were renovated in March 2006. At the moment, a new breakfast restaurant is being built.

Each of our rooms is conveniently and comfortably furnished, covering up to 32 m² with all the mod cons of a 3-star hotel. You will find a large complimentary bottle of mineral water in your room. Some rooms have W-LAN available upon request at an additional cost.
The hotel provides a 24-hour bar in the lobby and a modern breakfast room. The neighbouring restaurant "Waldgasthaus am Entenfang" serves excellent regional German cuisine. It is open from 12:00 until 23:00.
By Car:
- Leave the A2 motorway at the Hannover-Herrenhausen exit.
- Follow the B6 towards Herrenhausen.
- Leave the B6 at the 4th traffic light and turn left into Stöckener Straße.
- Turn left at the 2nd traffic light into Hogrefestraße.
- Turn right at the 1st traffic light into Eichsfelder Straße.
- Follow the street for approximately 1 km.
From the city centre:
- Take the B6 towards Nienburg and leave at the Stöcken exit.
- Then follow the instructions above.
